Well, as you probably all ready had worked out, my name is Marie. I’m 33 years old, and live
alone together with my 4 lovely dogs. The dogs are really my love and passion.
Right now I'm working as a personal helper for a guy on 23 years old. Not only is it very excting, it also give me a lot of free time to use with my dogs, since I work different times in the day - day or night. I work to days 12 hours and to nights 12 hours, and then I have 6 days of :o) Earlier I worked in a crèche for children between 0-3 years, and I have done that in nearly 3 years. I have also been working at a childcare for children between 0-6 years in about 3 years, and I must say, that it was 3 very exciting years, but also some tough years. You really get the truth right in your face. What kind of fate some of these children are facing !!
When I first began to look after what kind of dog I would like, I were looking much at the Danish breed ”Broholmer”, and I got so far to reserve one from some good and lovely parents. The puppies were not born yet, so in the mean time I was looking more and more at the Mastiff. Finally my ex husband said to me, that if I still couldn’t let go of these big beauties, then we had to cancel the ”Broholmer”. He though that it would be very stupid not to get the breed that I was really burning for, witch he has so right about.
Then a Friday evening, I find out, that the dog from “Turner and Hooch” (just with a name that I almost could not say), really existed very much safe and sound, and was not just a mongrel, like I though it was. Then I had no doubt in my mind about witch kind of a dog I wanted. I was, probably like a lot of other people, fallen totally for this wonder of a dog, so there was no way out, my mind was set on a Dogue de Bordeaux.
The same evening, I looked into a paper, and I almost couldn’t believe my own eyes, when I read that there actually were Dogue de Bordeaux puppies for sale. I didn’t care about the time, I just had to pick up the phone, and call to hear more about these puppies. So I did, and I had a long conversation with the breeder Birgitte Lund. The day after that conversation, Mozart was a reality in our little family, and that ”little” man who is just worth his weight in gold, has ever since brought us a lot of joy and happiness. He has placed himself very well in my heart. Basko, Thaliyah, Meeko and Ziljah has arrived later on, but they are not less loved in this house.
As you can imagine, I just can’t get enough of these lovely dogs, and if I had the space and the opportunity to go home without working, then I would have even more of the world’s most charming breed – Dogue de Bordeaux!!
I hope, that you now has a picture of who I am, other wise I put a picture on the site you at least can take a look at :o)
